We are extremely grateful to the organisations that have donated money, goods or expertise to help us get established. In addition we thank every individual that has donated money, time, effort, equipment and/or expertise to us.
We are seeking local sponsors and supporters, in Barton- Upon-Humber and surrounding areas. We would love to have you sponsor our Men’s Shed. If you do we will publicise your sponsorship in the shed, here and through our social media channels. We aim to promote a positive community image of ourselves and our sponsors.

Donations

In addition to sponsorship and financial donations, we are always looking for donations of:​

Woodworking and metalworking tools e.g. screwdriver, saw, chisel, drill bits, spanners, sockets etc.

Good quality timber e.g. offcuts, plywood, pallet wood (good quality pallets)

Metal stock and sheets

Perspex/Acrylic stock and sheets

Power tools (working, complete with necessary guards/safety features if possible)

Machine tools (lathe, mill etc)

Nuts & bolts (Metric preferably), wood screws (preferably not slot head)

Woodworking consumables e.g. sandpaper, nails

Tea, coffee and biscuits are always welcome at the shed! The social side to Men in Sheds is just as important as the wood working element, and our members and volunteers are partial to a biscuit or two.
